Unlike another code, where players repeatedly bump chests with each other to vent their aggression, Rugby League's centre piece "the Qld vs NSW State of Origin" is Australia's only gladiatorial television spectacle. May it thrive into the future, and not fall prey to the "Think of the children" mentality, which resulted in the once great code of the AFL now being over sanitized.
