In 1977, the Voyager program was initiated, then a few hundred years later, we lost contact with the voyagers and it was assumed that the vessels were damaged or destroyed. Though, in truth, the vessels were found.
The covenant had found them and had vowed to destroy humanity, for their gods had demanded it as the prophets had said.
The Outer colonies were first. This movie tells about the fight between the Humans and the covenant.
This is totally fake, but far different than any other trailer you've seen and pretty interesting.
